Haus Burgblick is not far from the border with the Netherlands and Belgium and is located in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany: the Eifel. The village of Monschau is located in a narrow and deep valley on the river Roer, barely 4 kilometers from the Belgian border. The cozy atmosphere, the half-timbered houses, the winding rivers and the forests around the valley make Monschau a tourist attraction. You will find a lot of restaurants, cafes and bakeries in the village but also very nice shops. Do you like a brisk walk? Then you can walk on foot to the higher forests surrounding Monschau. At one of the many lookout points you can enjoy a beautiful view over the village.
For every season
In the SPRING the sun shines its first warm sunbeams, enjoy a walk in the woods and a picnic in the beautiful nature or visit the nature park Eifel. A warm SUMMER you can expect in Monschau, where you can sit cozy on one of the many terraces in the center. Warm colors can be found in the AUTUMN with creaking leaves under the shoes. A breath of fresh air, but still the rays of sunlight that shine through the trees, come to rest with one of the many beautiful autumn walks that you can choose here. A real "must do" is the Christmas market in Monschau, with food and mulled wine stands in all streets. The half-timbered houses lie under a blanket of snow and are completely decorated, making a visit to this idyllic village in winter even more than worthwhile.
Middle in the center
Our holiday home in the center of Monschau has on the ground floor a cozy kitchen equipped with induction fire, refrigerator and a wide range of kitchen utensils and kitchen linen. In addition, you will find 2 bathrooms with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. And a second separate toilet. The spacious living space is on the first floor together with a separate bedroom with a double bed. A further floor upstairs you can find another three bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a double bed and next to that room a fourth room with two single beds.

You have a unique view of the center and the gardens behind you from this holiday home. Besides the beautiful forests and meadows, you can drive around Monschau with a train, visit one of the many museums or take a look at a historic castle.
Not far from Monschau lies the National Park Eifel, where you can walk and cycle beautifully and where there are many sights. Horse riding and kayaking are also very popular here.
