On the 14th, and highest, floor, in the new Oosteroever district, you will find this brand new luxury holiday residence. The penthouse is located in the lighthouse district / fish harbor of Ostend. Oosteroever is a part of this city district, where maritime economic activity predominates. With a free ferry (Visserkaai - Oosteroever) you can sail every day from Oosteroever to the center. So you can perfectly leave the car to visit the city center.
View on city, port and sea
Through the cast iron door you enter the living room with open kitchen and you are treated equally to a panoramic view of the entire city of Ostend, the harbor and the sea. There is a gas fireplace, so you can also enjoy the cosiness in the penthouse in the winter. Adjacent to the living space is a south-oriented terrace of no less than 200m². Here you can really enjoy the peace, the sea, the sun and the view. There are four bedrooms: two bedrooms with a double bed, 1 office / bedroom with a double bed and 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single, bunk bed upstairs. All bedrooms have access to the terrace. There are two large bathrooms with bath and walk-in shower and a separate shower room in the hallway. There is also a large garage for 3 cars.
A warm sea breeze and the first summer sunrays: lovely. Even a beach chair with a sweater can not be missed in the SPRING. Sunbathing and building beach castles is really for the SUMMER. On a sunny AUTUMN day you can again enjoy a fresh breeze on the beach, to literally get a breath of fresh air. You can expect a white, crackling beach in the WINTER. A hat, a scarf and gloves and you are ready to go for a walk and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate with a red nose afterwards! Christmas or new year by the sea? On New Year's Eve there is a firework spectacle every year on the beach. Christmas trees burning, Sprontjes-day or Harings-dag-y ... Whatever you want. A cozy evening together with the classic ingredients: Christmas trees that provide a giant fire accompanied by fire pits, mulled wine and an Ostend fish soup.
Oosteroever has a direct connection to the Oosteroever-dunes and the “private” beach. The dunes run all the way to the harbor mouth of Ostend and there you have a beautiful view of the city center. Not only are all large chain stores here, it is therefore THE coastal city for shopping.
